MESAはMammoth LakesからBishopへ向かうハイウェイ395沿いにある街の名前です。

MESAのデザインは、FLOAT初期モデルのGAIA、FLOATシリーズで一番サイズの大きかったVEGAを混ぜたようなイメージで、いわゆるボストン型です。
LONEPINEとMESAはサングラスの原点に立ち返り大きめのサイズになっています。
サイズは大きいですがゴツさは感じさせず男女問わず優しくかけやすい一本になったと思います。

ブラウンレンズ（可視光線透過率15%）はコントラスト（明暗差）が一番強く、魚影や川底の確認、雪山での地形把握などテクニカルな面で効果を発揮します。少し茶色がかって見えますが、緑や土の色を鮮やかにしてくれるので、これもグレーレンズとは違う楽しさと使い勝手があります。

FLOATの原点に立ち返った一本です。
